Technical SEO audit with a 90-day action plan

A hundred-page export never says where to begin. We read the site by hand, rank every issue by its impact and write tasks your developer can carry out without guessing.

  • Every audit read by a person
  • 1,256+ projects analysed
  • 194+ niches of hands-on work
  • Specs written for your developer

What our SEO audit services give you

You can start on the findings the same day the document arrives.

  • You know which fix comes first

Every finding is marked critical, important or growth point, with a line on why it sits there.

  • Your developer gets tasks instead of riddles

Technical fixes come as a Now line and a Change to line, so nobody has to ring us to decode them.

  • Lost traffic gets a cause and a way back

A filter, a broken template, pages that vanished or two pages fighting over one query, found and explained.

  • A redesign that keeps the rankings you built

Before a migration we check the new structure and write the redirect map and a launch checklist.

Why order one

Signs your site needs an audit now

An audit is the diagnosis before the treatment. In these four situations, carrying on without one means spending money blind.

Sign 1

Traffic dropped or stalled

Your rankings dropped after a Google update or a redesign and nobody has a clear answer as to why. Fixing things at random at that point usually makes it worse.

What you getWe find the actual cause. It might be a filter, a technical fault, pages that vanished or two pages fighting for one query, and we show how to get the traffic back.
Sign 2

You pay for SEO and see nothing

Reports arrive every month. Enquiries do not. It is hard to tell real work from activity that only looks busy.

What you getA second opinion from someone with no stake in it, on which work helped, which was wasted and which is hurting you.
Sign 3

A new site or redesign is coming

Moving to a new site without mapping the old URLs is the fastest way we know to lose rankings you spent years building. Planning it before launch costs far less than repairing it afterwards.

What you getWe check that the new structure is ready, write the redirect map and give you a launch checklist. On one UK restructure the map ran to 142 rules and the traffic held.
Sign 4

You don't know where to start

You have a site and a budget, but no idea which job should come first. Random fixes rarely pay off.

What you getA 90-day plan in order of priority, with a line on why each task sits where it does.
What you receive

A plan you can act on, not a report for the drawer

You should be able to start working from the audit on the day you get it. Each finding has a priority, a sentence or two on why it matters and the fix we would make.

For anything technical we write a "Now" line and a "Change to" line, so your developer doesn't have to ring us to work out what we meant.

Inside the audit report

Eight sections, in the order we cover them on the call. Each one closes with fixes ranked by what they will do for traffic and enquiries.

  1. Technical base

Indexing, duplicates, errors, robots.txt and the sitemap. We set the pages you want in Google against the ones it actually holds.

  2. Page speed

Core Web Vitals, meaning LCP, CLS and INP, on your real templates, and how much each one is costing you in rankings.

  3. Structure and cannibalisation

How the site is organised and which pages compete with each other for the same search.

  4. Keyword coverage

Whether your pages answer what people search for, and which searches have no page at all.

  5. On-page review

Titles, headings, content and internal links, page by page wherever it matters.

  6. Backlink profile

The quality of sites linking to you, any risk they carry and the gap to the top results.

  7. Competitor analysis

What the sites above you do better, put in terms you can act on.

  8. Growth points and the plan

Queries and pages with the fastest upside, arranged into 90 days of tasks with developer specs.

What might be stopping you

Five things owners and marketers ask before they order an audit.

We already ran a crawler

Then you have the raw list. We go through the site by hand, drop the noise and keep the issues that touch traffic and enquiries, each with a reason and a fix.

Our developer has no time

Each fix is written so it can be picked up between other jobs. The Now and Change to lines leave nothing to interpret, and we answer questions on the walkthrough call.

Will you push us into monthly SEO?

No. The audit stands on its own and you can apply it yourselves. If you later want us to do the work, that is a separate Upwork contract, which either side can end at any time.

Can someone abroad audit a UK site?

Google reads your pages the same way wherever the auditor sits. The findings come in plain English, Vitaliy also works in German, Dutch and Ukrainian, and Kyiv sits 2 hours ahead of London.

There is no price on the page

A small brochure site and a large store are very different amounts of work. The first review is free and ready in 24 hours. After a short brief you get the exact figure for the full audit.

What happens next

The months after the audit

  • Audit left in a folder, enquiries
  • Audit left in a folder, traffic
  • BeeTop plan, enquiries
  • Enquiries lost to issues nobody fixed
  1. 1Critical indexing fixes go live in weeks 1–2
  2. 2Speed, structure and growth-point pages by month 3

An audit only earns its fee once the fixes reach the live site, so ours arrives as tasks in order. Illustration of a typical path, not a forecast.

Everything is connected

The audit looks at the site, yet its findings feed search, ads and reporting as well.

  2. SEO pages that rank cut paid clicks
  3. Google Ads ad and organic enquiries side by side

SEO audit questions

How much do your SEO audit services cost?
The first review is free and ready in 24 hours. It covers the main problems and growth points. For the full audit with developer specs we quote after a short brief, as a small brochure site and a large store are very different jobs.
Can't I simply run a crawler like Screaming Frog?
Crawlers hand you hundreds of warnings with no priorities and no business context. We go through the site by hand, drop the noise and keep what affects results. You get a plan instead of a raw list.
How long does the audit take?
The free first review takes 24 hours. A full audit needs a few days to a week, and a large site sits at the longer end of that.
What do I actually get?
The findings in order of priority, each with a short note on why it matters, plus a 90-day plan and developer tasks written as "Now" and "Change to". We then go through it with you on a call.
Do you need access to my site?
For a full audit, access to Google Search Console and analytics gives an accurate picture of indexing, traffic and behaviour. Admin access to the site itself is not needed. For the free review, the URL is enough.
Do I have to buy SEO after the audit?
No. The audit stands on its own. You or your developer can apply the fixes from the specs. If you would like us to implement them and grow the site afterwards, that is a separate agreement with no pressure.
Does the audit check how Google indexes my pages?
Yes, and on many sites that is where the biggest losses hide. We compare what you want indexed with what Google actually has in its index, then find the pages blocked by mistake and the junk that should not be there.

What an SEO audit is and why you need one

An SEO audit shows what stops a site from ranking and bringing in customers. In practice it is a full website audit done before any promotion starts. BeeTop has run audits since 2010, for local services, online stores with large catalogues and B2B projects. The technical SEO audit part looks at indexing, speed and Core Web Vitals first, since nothing else matters if Google can't reach your pages. Then we move on to structure and cannibalisation, keyword coverage, on-page work, backlinks and competitors. At the end you know what is happening with the site and why.

Why our audit ends in a plan

Most audits are of little use in practice. Automated tools produce hundreds of errors without priorities, and the owner cannot tell where to begin. We review by hand, discard what is minor and give you a document you can use the same day. Each finding is marked critical, important or growth point, with a reason and a fix. Indexing gets special attention. The +340K traffic project in our Upwork portfolio came after exactly this kind of technical and indexing cleanup.

When to order an SEO audit

Four situations bring people to us. Traffic has fallen or stopped growing after an update or a redesign. You are paying for SEO, the results are missing and you want an independent view. A new site or a migration is planned and the redirect map has to be right. Or you simply do not know where to start, and the audit gives you a sequence instead of random fixes. In each case the diagnosis pays for itself quickly, because it stops spending on guesswork.

After the audit

You can apply the recommendations yourself, pass the specs to your developer or ask us to do the work. Many audits turn into ongoing SEO for the whole site, but the audit has value on its own. If you also want to know how your pages show up in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers, see our AI search optimisation service. To get the first picture, request the free review and you will hear from us within 24 hours.
