Local SEO agency that gets you into the map pack

When someone nearby needs your trade this week, they ring one of the three firms on the map. We work on your profile, reviews and area pages so that firm is you.

  • Vitaliy runs each project in person
  • Top Rated Plus freelancer on Upwork
  • Maps listing, reviews, area pages
  • First findings within 24 hours

What our local SEO services change for your phone

You notice it in the Maps listing first, and a few weeks later in the calls you log.

  • Your firm shows up among the three map results

The right primary category, services, photos and hours let Google show your listing for far more searches.

  • Every town you cover can find you

Each area you really work in gets its own page about that place, never a template with the town name swapped.

  • Reviews that catch up with the firm above you

Customers get a simple request after each job, and no review is left without a reply.

  • Map visits turn into calls you can count

Tap-to-call on each area page and call tracking show which searches made the phone ring.

Where local firms lose calls

Why nearby customers find your competitors first

Your website is only part of it. Google also checks the map listing, the reviews and how sure it can be about where you work, and a gap in any one of those lets a rival in.

Problem 1

You are missing from Google Maps

A customer types the service they need, gets three rivals in the map pack and scrolls past the spot where you should be. Sometimes the listing exists, but nobody has touched it in years and the reviews go unanswered.

What we doWe go through your Google Business Profile line by line, from categories and services to photos and opening hours, and agree with you who answers reviews and how fast.
Problem 2

Your site gives Google no sense of place

Google cannot see which towns you cover. There are no pages for your service areas, the address hides in the footer and the markup says nothing about location.

What we doWe add pages for the areas you really serve and LocalBusiness markup, then chase down every old listing that still shows a wrong phone number or address.
Problem 3

A rival with worse service ranks above you

You do the better job, but the firm above you has piles of reviews and you have a handful. Annoying, and very fixable once you start asking for them.

What we doYou get a short message and a link for asking happy customers, and we reply to every review with you, the angry ones included.
Problem 4

Visits arrive, the phone stays quiet

The visitors show up in analytics, yet hardly anyone rings. Try finding the number on your own site from a phone and you'll often see why, with no tap-to-call and a form that wants half your life story.

What we doEvery area page gets a tap-to-call button, your hours and a form with three or four fields, and we track which of them people actually use.
Why it works

Why the map pack decides who gets the call

Someone looking for a service nearby rarely scrolls past the three map results. Get into that block and the calls come daily, with no fee for each click.

Local SEO for firms that travel to the customer

Plenty of trades have no shopfront at all. An electrician works from a van and covers a ring of towns, and the website has to reflect every one of them. For a UK builder we planned 54 geo-landing pages this way, as part of our SEO for construction firms.

You get a plain-English report each month on calls and enquiries

What extra calls from Google are worth

Put in your own call volume, how many calls become jobs and what one job brings in. The sum is worked out in your browser and sent nowhere.

Extra calls a month you choose

These are your own figures and the scenario you picked. It is arithmetic, not a forecast or a promise.

What might be stopping you

Five things local owners ask on the first call, with straight answers.

I only work in one town

Then the job is smaller and easier to measure. One town means one map area, a profile that matches it and a few pages for the services people look for there. The free review shows who sits above you in that town and what it takes to pass them.

My competitors have more reviews

They collected them one customer at a time, and you can too. We set up a request you send after each job and reply to every review with you, the angry ones included. Fresh reviews with replies count for more than an old pile nobody answers.

I don't have time for this

We do the work. From you we need access to the profile, a few photos of real jobs and someone who sends the review request. Vitaliy leads the project himself, so there is no account manager passing messages back and forth.

Why hire an agency based abroad?

Local rankings are won on Google, and Google is the same from Kyiv. Vitaliy works in English, German, Dutch and Ukrainian, and Kyiv is 2 hours ahead of London. Contract and payment go through Upwork, and you can close it whenever you like.

$2,500 a month sounds like a lot

That is where the fee starts. You get the exact figure after the free review, when we know how many towns and services you want covered. Try your own job value in the calculator above. Nobody can honestly promise first place on the map, and we won't.

Everything is connected

A local firm gets calls from more places than the map. These four parts feed each other.

  2. SEO map calls cut your spend on clicks

Local SEO questions

What is local SEO in plain terms?
Most owners describe it as getting found by customers nearby. In practice it means working on searches that include a place, like "[service] near me" or "[service] in [town]", so you appear in Google Maps and the local results for people who could realistically become customers.
How much do local SEO services cost?
Ongoing SEO with us starts from $2,500 a month. Where it ends up depends on how many towns and services you want covered and how many competitors fight for the same map spots. The first review is free, so you'll see the plan and our reasoning before you spend anything.
Do I need a website for local SEO?
You can start with a Google Business Profile alone, and plenty of calls come straight from the map listing. A site with proper area pages makes the profile much stronger, though. When the current site is holding you back we'd rather say so than polish it, and we can rebuild it around what people in your area search for.
What is a Google Business Profile?
It's the free listing you see in Maps and next to local results, with your address or service area, hours, photos, reviews and a call button. You may know it by its old name, Google My Business. For most local firms it brings in more calls than the website does.
How soon will I see results?
Changes to the profile can show within a few weeks, as the listing starts appearing for more searches. Steady growth in local rankings and calls usually takes 2–4 months, depending on how much competition there is in your area.
Can you help a business with no shop address?
Yes, and it's very common with trades. On the profile you hide the street address and list the towns or postcodes you cover. We then make sure your site has a page for each of those places, otherwise Google sees two versions of where you work.
Do you work with businesses outside the UK?
Yes. We work with businesses in the UK, the EU and Canada. We can work in English, German or Dutch, and the contract and payments run through Upwork.

Local SEO services for small businesses

Think of the last time your boiler broke or you needed a dentist quickly. You probably typed the service and your town, looked at the map and called one of the first three. That is the search we work on. We start by checking how people in your area phrase it. Two towns ten miles apart can search quite differently, so no client gets a copy of someone else's plan. For most of these queries the map pack sits above the ordinary results, so we treat the profile and the website as one job.

Google Business Profile and the local pack

The profile is what puts you among the three map listings, where most calls and direction requests happen. We pick the primary category with care, since it decides which searches you can appear for at all. Then come services, photos, hours, a short description and the review routine. We also tidy your citations, the mentions of your name, address and phone number in directories, until they match the profile exactly.

Pages for several towns or areas

Covering five towns with one contact page rarely works. Each area you serve needs its own page about that place. Swapping the town name in a template doesn't count. Google tends to treat such copies as one weak page. We add LocalBusiness markup to each one and link it to the related services. Brands with many branches or national reach get this local layer on top of our broader search optimisation for the whole site.

Who needs local SEO

Any business whose customers look for a service close to them. Trades, clinics, solicitors, accountants, salons, garages and local shops. If people type your service plus a town, or add "near me", local search will very likely pay for itself. It works best where ads are expensive, because an extra call from the map costs nothing per click. Unsure it fits? Send us your site and we'll show you where you stand locally before any work starts. And if the phone needs to ring this week while rankings take their time, paid search campaigns can carry you through the first months.
